Tour Description

Mount Sinai (Mount Moses) is one of the most famous mountains of the Sinai Peninsula. According to the Bible, this is where Moses received the Ten Commandments.
Please remember that you are visiting holy places — modest clothing is required.
Excursion does not operate on major Christian holidays.
Schedule may vary depending on the season (summer/winter).
1. Hotel Pickup

Departure around 20:00
(exact time after booking).

Road time — about 3 hours, including a stop in Dahab.

2. Short Break

15-minute stop (toilet, coffee, snack, instructions from the guide).

3. Transfer to the Foot of the Mountain

Arrival after about 1.5 hours.

4. Night Climb to Mount Moses

Climb with Bedouin guides.
Duration — about 3 hours, distance — 7 km.
At the end: 750 stone steps.
Flashlights are provided.
Camel ascent available (extra charge).

5. Sunrise at the Top

About 1 hour on the summit.
Wool blankets are available for rent (extra).

6. Descent

Return to the monastery — about 2 hours.

7. St. Catherine’s Monastery

Tour of the open territory (entry inside is limited).

8. Return to Sharm El Sheikh

Arrival around 09:30, actual hotel arrival around 13:30.
