Tour Description

A tour to Petra from Sharm El Sheikh is one of the most impressive trips. The journey starts at night, and by morning you arrive in the ancient city of Petra in Jordan—one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Main highlights: the Siq canyon, the Treasury (Al-Khazneh), the Roman amphitheater, Royal Tombs, and magnificent rock facades.

What not to take with you:
Although travelers are usually not stopped at the border on Petra tours from Sharm El Sheikh, some items are better left behind on the Egyptian side. They will be taken and returned on the way back. Specifically:
Cameras with focal length from 55 mm will likely be taken at the checkpoint and returned on the way back.
Large luggage suitcases (you don't need many things for this tour — they will not be allowed).
00:30 – Departure from the hotel toward Taba port.
02:00 – Transfer from Sharm El Sheikh to the seaport of Taba (160 km).
05:00 – Ferry from the port to Aqaba (Jordan), about 60 minutes.

09:00 – Visit the Siq canyon.
10:00 – Visit the Treasury (Al-Khazneh) — one of the most beautiful buildings of ancient Petra, carved in rock between 100 BC and 200 AD in Greco-Roman style.
12:00 – Visit the Roman Theater.
13:00 – Lunch.
14:30 – Visit Al-Habis fortress.
17:00 – Return to Sharm El Sheikh: transfer to Aqaba port, ferry to Taba, and drive back to the hotel.
23:00 – Arrival in Sharm El Sheikh.

Экскурсия интересная,гид отличный,автобусы идеальные,на пароме в течении часа пересекли границу,в кафе вкусно покормили,на саму экскурсию отведено 4 часа,наша группа с 14 до 18-00, из отеля в Шарм-эль-шейхе забрали в 1-10 ночи,вернулась Я в два ночи, следующего дня, получается сутки,дорога, конечно, длинная, но мне понравилось, спасибо.
